Sometimes there are indeed some proposals that can not be denied. And the last one, is from JIMMY PALMOTTI and Justin Gray, the two scribes who officiate on one of my favorite COMICS: JONAH HEX.
Yet I never liked this character. The ignorant wisely for over a decade when VERTIGO was the feet and hands to sell it when you just wanted another "Preacher" or another "SEND". HEX has quietly returned to the bosom of DC COMICS and Justin Gray and Jimmy PALMOTTI there are bonded and have knitted one shots beautiful. Again, I was a little behind, it took PALMOTTI BERNET meeting at the festival Comics BARCELONA, so that things are getting serious for me, from the number 13! Three sublime issues that tell the origin of JONAH HEX. Where does the scar and why is there a mother fucker to make superbadass Josey WALES crazy with jealousy ... although I feel a big influence anyway.
BERNET on a series of western badass and who shows up every 3 or 4 numbers once he has finished the sexy adventures of NOCHE DE CLARE, that alone, it vout balls nailed to the wall. The stories are dark, dense and formidably well for smashing one shots. And then when we thought we had seen everything, JIMMY Darwyn Cooke will get us to number 33 and number 50 (of 50 PAGES !!!). promising us to go get all 17 numbers. So technically Cooke will be back for 67 in 5 months!!
COOKE guest star, BERNET almost every other month and then what ... huh? What? EDUARDO RISSO ... and yes, the little guy. RISSO'm still working and he loves WESTERN.
DC COMICS always communicates very well, as it sends us a number with RISSO that falls on the arm without warning. A bit like this short story of 8 pages of script by SPIRIT Brian Azzarello who appeared there, as it by chance under the radar. Anyway ... Even if sales were not in tiptop JONAH HEX, this big machine to print $ $ $ HOLLYWOOD examined what JONAH HEX and has spawned a film nag, who will not even output rooms at home (a bit like THE LOSERS and that is to shit the dick frozen since the film is highly faithful to the spirit of the comics Diggle & JOCK ... so a real massacre). This time, the fidelity to source material does not seem to go, but I have been seeing MEGAN FOX saloon whore to be searched by HEX the pants, just to see if it does Derrig has not in the pants.
